Surprising Growth In PC Chip Shipments In Second Quarter
SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones) — Personal computer chip shipments rose in the second quarter, an unusual trend in what is typically the slowest period of the year, according to International Data Corp. Worldwide shipments grew 3.1% from the first quarter, and 16.1% from the year-earlier period, IDC said.
