IDG World Expo and Turtle Entertainment announced today that the Intel Extreme Masters, the global league of eSports champions, will be held at the Entertainment for All Expo® (E for All®) in Los Angeles October 3-5, 2008. The world's top eSports teams in Counter-Strike 1.6 and World of Warcraft will compete for 80,000 USD prize money at the Global Challenge Los Angeles. The overall prize money of the Intel Extreme Masters season III is 750,000 USD, which is an all-time record for a global online league.
